Title: Compliance Crossroads – Compliance Update for Government Collection Professionals and their Private Sector Partners

Description: Consumer protection has taken center stage for both government and private sector collection professionals and the stakes are high. Reputational and legal risks impact revenue and political considerations and the need to manage private sector partners is at an all-time high. This session is designed to highlight the most significant changes in compliance requirements for the collection industry today. A few of the topics to be covered include:

*   TCPA compliance and the auto/ manual dial conundrum;
*   EFTA Electronic Payments and Authorization requirements;
*   Service Member Civil Relief Act; Authorizations, consent, e –sign act and record keeping;
*   Service provider oversight and why it matters more now.
