Software Engineer - Java / Flex / .NET / C#

Job location: Berlin, OH

Software Engineers work in a collaborative, dynamic environment, developing quality software engineering solutions. Engineers are responsible for: understanding and following defined product development methodologies developing technical solutions, determining detailed designs, and investigating and resolving software issues. Individual initiative and creativity are encouraged and welcomed at Ontario Systems.

**Qualifications: **

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related areas
• Minimum of 1-3 years related experience in technical solutions delivery (programming, configuration, builds or technical support)
• Knowledge of and proven experience developing real world applications using Java, .NET, C#, and/or Flex as a main discipline required
• Working knowledge of database concepts with industry standard database languages such as Oracle, SQL Server or Caché preferred
• Working knowledge of build process, databases and programming/data access tools required
• Working knowledge of industry standard processes, tools and deliverables required
• Demonstrated capability in systems design and project life cycle methodologies
• Demonstrated capability in problem resolutions and root cause analysis
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Permanent resident status required (unable to provide visa sponsorship)
