MUNCIE, Ind. – (July 23, 2009) – Ontario Systems, a leading provider of revenue cycle management solutions for the health care industry as well as debt collection management solutions, today announced that it has chosen LeAnne Hester as its new director of marketing.
Hester will act as the key liaison between sales and marketing to ensure that the company’s marketing efforts are working in concert with its sales efforts to support the sale of all Ontario Systems debt management solutions, including Collect Savvy, the next generation of Ontario Systems’ market-leading FACS and Artiva collection applications.
Hester brings more than 12 years experience driving new product strategy in healthcare, most recently serving as senior director, business development/marketing for The Advisory Board, a health care research firm. While there, she launched a break-through Business Intelligence program to reduce cost for hospitals and universities. As part of this launch she was responsible for all marketing and sales efforts.
“LeAnne Hester is a tremendous addition to Ontario Systems,” said CEO Tony Reisz. “Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated that she sees the ‘big picture’ and is able to put all of the necessary pieces in place to ensure that a marketing program is successful and also melds perfectly with the overall sales and business goals. We are thrilled to welcome her to our team.”
Earlier in her career, Hester acted as program director of 360° Health for WellPoint, Inc., the largest health insurance carrier in the country. Prior to that, she was vice president, services and support for Mezzia, Inc., a company that provides software and services to manage capital planning and spending for healthcare providers. Having high-level experience with both insurance carriers and technology solutions, Hester brings a unique leadership skill set to Ontario Systems.
“With a renewed focus on healthcare costs, hospitals and other providers are looking for new ways to preserve their margins,” said Hester. “I am excited to work with Ontario Systems because the company has innovative solutions for healthcare providers to manage their revenue cycle and accelerate their receivables.”
Hester began her career at Community Health Network (CHN), a $1 billion health system rated by Health & Hospital as “One of the Top 100” integrated healthcare delivery networks in the United States. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, and an MBA from Anderson University, Anderson, Ind. In 2002, Hester completed the Healthcare Leadership Institute at Georgetown University.
