Mobile Phone Dialing Regulations

Recent federal rulings are causing a seismic business shift that could severely curtail your ability to contact account holders’ mobile phones and could potentially open you up to tremendous liability if you auto dial a mobile phone without permission.

Ontario Systems has the solution that lets you easily steer clear of the fallout. The Validity product is our complete mobile phone validation and authorization module that is fully integrated with our Guaranteed Contacts family of predictive dialers.

Ontario Systems’ Validity product can tell you whether an account holder tied to a mobile phone has authorized you to call that phone number. Validity enables you to evaluate phone numbers during campaign build and store mobile phone authorization recordings from account holders or clients. Validity automatically alerts account representatives when they are working accounts with unauthorized mobile phones.

Because of the Validity product’s tight integration with the Ontario Systems products, it provides a client-level setting that can grant blanket authorization if a client gains authorization from the account holder when the debt is incurred. That integration also will allow the GC Voice Trak™ product to record the debtor authorization and add a specific flag to that authorization recording.

State Calling Regulation Management

Complying with state and federal call regulations is time-consuming, tedious and nearly impossible to manage perfectly every time. Automating compliance from a centralized location increases compliance, reduces pool build complexity and improves productivity.

By performing the final compliance validation at dial time – and outside the pool-build – Validity removes redundant manual processes, enables supervisors to focus on business rules instead of state regulations, and lowers your liability risk by reducing the possibility of human error.

Following ACA’s interpretation of all applicable state laws and regulations, Validity applies these state regulations regarding time, frequency, and contacted person based on a phone number’s area code, allowing only approved phone numbers to be dialed. This integration also captures and stores statistical data for reports, identifying accounts which were blocked by state regulations. No other product evaluates phone numbers at dial time.
