CFPB Collections Program Manager Confirmed for Special Session with Ontario Systems Clients at PowerUp 2018

July 12, 2018

Gandhi Eswaramoorthy will join Chief Compliance Officer Rozanne Andersen for dialogue and discussion at annual user conference

MUNCIE, Ind. (July 18, 2018) – Ontario Systems, a leading provider of enterprise revenue cycle management software to the healthcare, accounts receivable management, and government markets, has announced Gandhi Eswaramoorthy, CFPB Debt Collections Program Manager for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), will join Ontario Systems Chief Compliance Officer Rozanne Andersen for a special presentation and discussion with Ontario Systems clients during the company’s annual user conference and receivables education event, PowerUp 2018. Details about the event and presentation are now available at http://powerup.ontariosystems.com.

“Gone are the days of rulemaking through CFPB enforcement or enforcement through supervision, yet ambiguity in the law remains the bane of the credit and collection industry,” Andersen says. “During this session, questions about convenience fees, consumer communications, E-Sign, text and email communications, the pending new rules for debt collection and more will be addressed by Mr. Eswaramoorthy, giving our clients the chance to hear how they should be preparing to meet new demands from consumers, directly from the nation’s foremost governing body.”

In addition to his experience with the CFPB, Eswaramoorthy has more than 25 years of experience working in every part of credit card risk management, including risk modeling, account management, collections, and recovery policy and strategy. Prior to his tenure as Senior Director of Collections and Recovery Policy and Strategy at Citi Cards, Eswaramoorthy spent several years at Barclays Card, Chase Card Services and American Express.

Following Mr. Eswaramoorthy’ s formal comments, select Ontario Systems clients will have the opportunity to join him in a dialogue about the issues they face as debt collection leaders. PowerUp 2018 will be held this year at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, October 15-17, with a limited number of reservations still available.

“For our entire 35+ year history, Ontario Systems has remained committed to staying on the cutting edge of compliance,” says Ontario Systems President, Jason Harrington. “That’s why we’re so excited to have Mr. Eswaramoorthy on our stage this year, providing a first-person account of the CFPB’s trajectory, and a direct channel for our clients to the most significant governing body over financial services in the industries they operate. We look forward to hearing their questions, and how they move forward with the knowledge they gain at PowerUp as a whole conference.”
