Revenue Cycle, Government, Receivables Leaders, and Partners Inducted into Hall of Fame
(MUNCIE, Ind. – October 25, 2018) – Ontario Systems, a leading provider of enterprise revenue cycle management software to the healthcare, accounts receivable management, and government markets, presented Kevin Lonergan, president of GetixHealth, with its fourth annual Pinnacle Award at PowerUp 2018, the Ontario Systems annual customer conference. The award is presented to individuals who have made outstanding and significant achievements in innovation, technology, and leadership over the course of their careers.
“We appreciate the opportunity to work with Kevin and his team at GetixHealth,” said Ontario Systems CEO Ron Fauquher. “Their growth has been astounding, and that’s due to the creativity, energy, and attention to customer service that Kevin has espoused since day one. We’re proud to work with him and the entire organization.”
“It’s truly an honor to be included among such an established group of visionaries who have been recognized before me,” Lonergan said. “GetixHealth has come a long way from eight years ago, when we were a company of one. Today, we are a global company with 1600 employees and 16 locations worldwide, proudly representing over 700 acute facilities and thousands of physicians. I had a vision to get here, but I needed a partnership that provided me the platform for our business. I found that in Ontario Systems. Our relationship with Ontario Systems shares the same culture of performance, character, and customer service that is the foundation of GetixHealth.”
Ontario Systems also honored healthcare, accounts receivable management, and government leaders in creativity, operational excellence and innovation with its annual Hall of Fame (HOF) awards. The company’s executive team selects honorees from a pool of nominations submitted by employees. This year, for the first time, OS partners and a Justice Systems customer were included among the HOF award winners. Justice Systems, Inc. (JSI) was acquired by Ontario Systems in May. This year’s honorees included:
- Robert Mattix, Senior Vice President of Revenue Cycle Operations, Surgery Partners – RCM customer
- Chris Veres, Assistant Vice President of AR Core Services, Parallon – RCM customer
- Chris Dunkum, President, First Collection Services – ARM customer
- Jeff Hunter, Chief Administrative Officer, Convergent Outsourcing Inc. – ARM customer
- Michele Gallun, Lead Senior Collection Specialist, Waukesha (Wis.) County Collection Division – GOV customer
- Tom Lawson, Chief Deputy Circuit Clerk of Winnebago (Ill.) County Circuit Clerk – JSI customer
- Mike Duke, Principal, Baker Tilly – Partner
- Tony Coffman, Owner and Managing Partner, BridgeWorks – Partner
“This year’s Hall of Fame awards honor our best and brightest customers, who are truly making a difference in business and in the world each day,” said Ontario Systems President Jason Harrington. “They are innovators who use Ontario Systems products to develop creative strategies and services, powering their operations with technology to turn potential into execution. We look forward to everything they will bring to life next year and beyond.”
The company announced PowerUp 2019 will be held at the historic Hotel del Coronado in Coronado, Calif., Aug. 26-28, 2019.
