Industry leaders and vendor partners honored for tech-fueled breakthroughs, contributions, and successes
MUNCIE, Ind. (September 5, 2019) – Ontario Systems, a leading provider of enterprise software that automates complex workflows and accelerates revenue recovery for clients in the healthcare, accounts receivable management (ARM), and government markets, presented its Hall of Fame awards last week at PowerUp, the company’s annual customer conference, in Coronado, California.
Every year since 2011, Ontario Systems has presented Hall of Fame awards to customers with outstanding records of achievement related to operational excellence, performance, and innovation. Last year, the company added an award category for vendor partner companies. Ontario Systems’ executive team selects Hall of Fame award winners from a pool of nominees identified by company employees. This year, Ontario Systems recognized winners in four categories: the healthcare (RCM) market, Justice Systems (JSI) and government (GOV) customers, the accounts receivable management industry (ARM), and vendor partners. The nine Hall of Fame award winners for 2019 were:
- Charisse Jacobs, IT Support Leader/Patient Financial Services, Falck USA (RCM customer)
- The Brookdale Senior Living team, led by Senior Vice President Mary Kay O’Dea (RCM customer)
- Anh Tran, IT Director for the Superior Court of San Joaquin County, CA (JSI customer)
- Marilyn Wood, Accounting Technician with the County of Santa Cruz, CA (GOV customer)
- Richard Gassaway, Director of Data Management, Reporting, and Analysis for the Debt Management Services team, U.S. Bureau of Fiscal Services (Federal GOV customer)
- Becky Dillon, CEO and Founder, Action Financial Services (ARM customer)
- Chris Taylor, Vice President of Operations, National Enterprise Systems (ARM customer)
- Tony Coffman, Owner and Managing Partner, BridgeWorks (vendor partner)
- Kyle Pretti, Senior Tech Specialist, TransUnion (vendor partner)
This year’s Hall of Fame award winners were nominated and chosen based upon a number of factors including innovative and strategic use of Ontario Systems products; tech-powered, results-oriented operations; active contributions to Ontario Systems’ product development; and industry leadership by way of growth, innovation, and/or service.
“The Hall of Fame awards come directly from our Ontario Systems and JSI staff members, who work with some of the most capable and successful individuals and teams on a daily basis,” said Jason Harrington, President and CEO of Ontario Systems. “Every nominee lifted up to the Hall of Fame selection committee is highly deserving, which makes our job extremely difficult. But we’re pleased to have had the opportunity to recognize these standard bearers for their hard work, ingenuity, and the transformational results they’ve been able to achieve.”
Ontario Systems also presented at PowerUp its annual Pinnacle Award to Shannon Dauchot, CEO of Parallon Revenue Cycle Point Solutions (RCPS), for her distinguished career in the healthcare collection industry and her successful efforts to enhance revenue cycle management.
“Our award winners are deeply committed to driving progress in their organizations and industries,” said Jason Harrington, President and CEO of Ontario Systems. “They also help Ontario Systems develop and refine products and solutions that enable many of our customers to overcome barriers to success. The hard work these award recipients are doing is incredibly important, and the impact they’re making goes well beyond their own organizations.”
